Somebody in Philadelphia ought to feel like a million bucks today – because that’s literally what they’ve just won.

Pa. Lottery officials said in a statement that a winning $1 million Powerball ticket from the drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 30, wassold at a Sunoco station in Northeast Philadelphia. There were no jackpot winners that day, so the Powerball purse has grown to $334 million.

That gas station is located at 1560 Cottman Avenue.

“The ticket correctly matched all five white balls drawn, 12-36-38-54-61, but not the red Powerball 22, to win $1 million,” officials explained.Until the ticket holder comes forward and the ticket is validated, the state cannot confirm the identity of the lucky winner.

Whoever has the ticket should sign the back of it immediately and call the Pa. Lottery at 717-702-8146 in order to begin filing a prize claim.
