Things to do in Philly this weekend
MUISC
Alison Krauss
Modern pop-bluegrass’ answer to Dolly Parton and Robert Plant’s venerable vocal foil does her own thing in Bensalem, all to the bat of her most recent album, “Windy City.”

First Aid Kit
When did this Swedish folk duo of singing sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg get so big they could play the Fillmore?
Sept. 8, 9 p.m., The Fillmore Philadelphia, 29 East Allen St. $25, thefillmorephilly.com
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The last time we heard from the towering downtown NYC garage art-rock trio was when “Mosquito” dropped in 2013 (actually, I may have stopped listening when their singer Karen 0 did the spooky spare soundtrack to “Where the Wild Things Are”). This reunion show could be grating and bracing all at once.
Sept 8., 5 p.m., Electric Factory, 421 N. 7th St., $10+, electrfactory.info
COMEDY
Dave Attell
In-the- biz types think of Attell as a “comedians’ comedian,” and incisively witty at all times. Others think of him as a cookie full of arsenic with a caustic sense of humor and a fowl mouth that could rattle your teeth and stain your curtains. Stay tuned as to which one you’ll get.
Sept. 6-9, Helium Comedy Club, 2031 Sansom St., $35+, philadelphia.heliumcomedy.com
Terry Fator
The polar opposite of Attell, Fator is a gentle man doing uproarious family comedy based around sensational impersonations of his favorite singers, past and present, and usually with puppets. He doesn’t go political, but his Trump impression, done with a huge orange puppet is pretty great – and straight down the middle, not left or right.
Sept. 7, 8 p.m., The Borgata Event Center at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, N.J., $45+, theborgata.com
Dane Cook
The poor man’s Jim Carrey returns.
