A total of 15 people were shot from Sunday morning to Monday afternoon in Philadelphia.
In Kensington, a 51-year-old man was shot in the chest at 12:30 p.m. Monday and later died at the hospital, police said.
A suspect was arrested, and officers recovered a gun at the scene. Authorities did not release further information on the fatal shooting.
Less than 30 minutes later, a 25-year-old man who was taking his trash out was hit in the left foot by a bullet on the 300 block of W. Abbottsford Ave. in Germantown. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition, police said.
At around 2:15 p.m. Monday, an 18-year-old man showed up to Lankenau Medical Center after being shot in the right leg at 58th Street and Haverford Avenue in West Philadelphia.
Two men were injured after gunfire erupted at 12:40 a.m. Monday on the 2800 block of Mutter Street in Fairhill, according to authorities.
One man was hit in the stomach, left leg and right foot and taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said. The other victim suffered gunshot wounds to his stomach, right arm and right ankle and is listed in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been reported.
On Sunday, at around 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard in the Lower Northeast after three men had been shot.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and right leg, and another man, also 29 years old, was hit in the back and right leg. A 30-year-old man had gunshot wounds to his left arm, groin and right thigh.
All three were listed in critical condition at local hospitals, according to authorities. Police said no arrests have been made.
About 15 minutes before that shooting, a 31-year-old man was grazed in the head by a bullet on the 5100 block of Sansom Street in West Philadelphia, police said. He was later listed in stable condition at the hospital.
Detectives were on the 2800 block of Park Avenue in North Philadelphia Sunday night after two people showed up to Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds.
A 36-year-old woman was shot in both legs, and a 26-year-old man was hit in the right foot, according to police. Both were in stable condition.
A 25-year-old man walked into Jefferson University Hospital just after 9:45 p.m. Sunday after being shot in the stomach. Investigators said they have not been able to locate the scene of the shooting.
In South Philadelphia, a 21-year-old man was sitting in a car at around 8 p.m. when he was shot 11 times throughout his body. Officers rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.
Investigators continue to search for a suspect.
On Sunday morning, a 29-year-old man was shot twice in the left arm, and another man was struck in the hand on the 5900 block of Greenway Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, authorities said.
Both men were in stable condition, and authorities arrested a suspect in the shooting.
