3 Ways to drink on St. Patrick’s Day

With the new kids
In Old City, Philadelphia Bar and Restaurant (120 Market St.) is celebrating their first St. Patty’s Day with special Jameson-glazed pork and shepherd’s pie “slammers” (think big sliders). As for drinks, they’re pouring an “Irish Potato Shot”: Malibu Rum, Baileys, Goldschlager, 151 and a cinnamon-sprinkled flame.

» Mix equal parts Malibu, Baileys, and Goldschlager in a shot glass.
» Float a splash of Bacardi 151 on top; light on fire and sprinkle cinnamon over the flame.
» Blow it out and drink.

With seasoned pros
The crew at McGillin’s (1310 Drury St.) have been warming up for months in preparation of their 151st March 17. Stop by for their signature green beer, a pint of O’Hara’s Stout straight from Ireland or traditional Irish fare such as bangers and mash and corned beef with cabbage. Doors open at 10 a.m. — and yes, you’ll have company in line.
