Women’s Veterans Center 5th Birthday Celebration 

The Women’s Veteran’s Center is celebrating their 5th birthday with plenty of drinks, food and a special event recognizing and honoring 800+ military women and their families, and a host of community supporters. All proceeds from the event will go right back to the WVC and their programs. Media personality Nicole Michalik will emcee the celebratory reception  along with keynote speaker Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake.

A$AP Rocky

Rapper A$AP Rocky is coming to the City of Brotherly Love for his Injured Generation Tour with special guest Comethazine. The popular performer is behind hits like “Wild for the Night”, “Goldie”, “F**ckin Problems”, “Praise the Lord” and many more that cemented him as one of the top young rappers to rise up in the past few years. Game of Thrones Beer Tasting 

Winter is here and so is the beer, if you are a fan of tasty brews or the wildly popular HBO show, you are in luck. The Bainbridge St. Barrel House is offering this unique event where guests will get to sample four Game Of Thrones beers and hear all about how they are made. After the tasting there will also be GOT scotch samples available ($7-$13) and flights of all 4 for ($25). The Barrel House will also be playing GOT throughout the event.

Vikings: Beyond the Feast

If you have a fascination with Vikings or have always wanted to try Nordic food, this dinner is for you. Inspired by the exhibit at the Franklin Institute, this Nordic-themed meal will have authentic food and drinks all from Swedish chef Henrik Ringbom. Guests will also have the chance to Learn from the Franklin Institute’s Viking experts, view artifacts from centuries past and taste Liquid Alchemy’s locally made mead and cider.
