‘Air Force One’ lands in Philly for DNC’s PoliticalFest

This ain’t your average commuter jet.

A replica of the fuselage of the presidential jetAir Force One,a main attractionforPoliticalFestduring the Democratic National Convention (DNC)next week, arrived at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Tuesday.

“The fuselage is a replica of part of the Air Force One plane used by presidents Kennedy through Reagan,” the DNC Host Committee said in a press release.”It is outfitted specifically to match the interior of the plane used by President Reagan.”

Visitors, delegates and their families who want to take a break from the convention will be able to travel to events around the city for PoliticalFest, and seeing the replica of Air Force One at Hall F of the Pennsylvania Convention Center will be among the attractions.

PoliticalFestwas originally organized by DNC Host Committee Chair Ed Rendell for the Republican National Convention in 2000.

PoliticalFest Main Stage at the National Constitution Center will hold two game shows, PoliticalFeud and PoliticalTrivia, the screening of famous speeches by American leaders, and a West Wing trivia game.
