No charges will be filed by the city district attorney in an altercation between the coach of Holy Family University’s Division II basketball team and one of his players, but it appears the two will never be part of the same squad again.
Coach John O’Connor, suspended earlier this week, and Matt Kravchuk appeared on Good Morning America early Thursday. O’Connor apologized on air, but Kravchuk said he would never be able to play for the coach again. The DA’s office “determined that this event does not constitute a prosecutable criminal offense.”
