Police said Wilson was crossing Woodland Ave. at 54th Street, trying to catch a Route 11 trolley that had stopped to let out passengers.

Armstrong, police said, ran a red light and tried to pass the trolley on the right side —where passengers get in and off the trolley —when his 2015 Nissan Altimahit Wilson.

There were no other reported injuries.
