Tea party darling and Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck yesterday made his feelings bluntly known about how he feels about the City of Brotherly Love: “Philadelphia sucks,” he said.
He disparaged Philadelphia during his daily radio program — which happened to be dropped from local airwaves Monday when the Big Talker 1210 AM ended its airing of Beck’s morning show.
Coincidence? Where’s a good, old chalkboard to work this out when you need one?
“The killing streets known as right there in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia — you know how Philadelphia is not a place you want to be,” Beck said during a discussion that began with Camden, N.J., layoffs of police and firefighters.
“So you’ll just walk around anyplace around Independence Hall any night of the week? … You feel comfortable?”
