Ben Simmons is in the NBA now, so the NCAA can’t do anything.

Thank god for that.

In advance of the Sixersrookie’s upcoming documentary “One and Done,” ESPN.com released the transcripts of a few of Simmons’ comments as he worked his way through one season at LSU and they are pretty damning.

“The NCAA is really f—ed up,” Simmons said in the documentary, a film that follows the hoops star from his younger days through the NBA draft process.. “Everybody’s making money except the players. We’re the ones waking up early as hell to be the best teams and do everything they want us to do and then the players get nothing. They say education, but if I’m there for a year, I can’t get much education.”

Simmons goes on to explain that after getting decent grades first semester, he rarely if ever attended class second semester.

“I’m here to play, I’m not here to go to school.”

Simmons is currently rehabbing from offseason foot surgery — which the Sixersdeemed to be a success. After many surmised the 6-foot-10 teenager might sit out the entire season, like teammatesJoel Embiid and Nerlens Noel before him, the buzz is now that he will be back by year’s end.

“One and Done” airs Friday night on Showtime.
