Authorities are investigating after a large brawl broke out at a church fair, leaving three people hospitalized with stab wounds and four others in custody.
Several police departments were called to the St. Michael’s Carnival in Tullytown after an argument between teenagers escalated into a large fight, CBS3 reported.
The fight began around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday at the fair near the corner of Route 13 and Levittown Parkway, 6ABC stated. The fight then spilled outside and led to a stabbing in a nearby Wal-Mart parking lot.
“It makes it a bad look on my youth and my generation. For us to act like this at a county fair where we have little children and stuff and people trying to bring their families here, this is for kids to come with their families and have fun,” witness Isaiah Carpenter was was quoted by CBS3.
Authorities ordered the fair to be shut down as they tried to piece together what initiated the confrontation, CBS 3 added.
The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were last listed in stable condition, according to 6ABC. So far, no charges have been filed against the four people being questioned by police.
