With 32 beers and ciders on tap, there’s ample opportunity to see if the copper pipes have any impact on the taste on the experience. What’s more, Cinder has beers like the Coppertail Florida Jawn and Cascade Elderberry that aren’t available anywhere else in the city. Not a fan of beer? Don’t worry. There are 10 different wines available by the glass and 20 by the bottle to satisfy the die-hard winos in your group.
On the food side of things, the menu offers three categories besides wood-fired pizza: artisanal cheese & charcuterie, mussels and small plates. The scallop dish with rutabaga, grapefruit, ginger and hazelnut is ranking pretty high on our must-try list.
“Cinder is a unique concept that shines the spotlight on ciders and sours together for a new genre of beer bar,” says Teddy Sourias, the restaurateur behind Cinder. “We are essentially combining our favorite elements of a Belgian beer cafe with a wine bar/pizza kitchen.”
