Cops: ‘Mr. Incredible’ robbed, beat cabbie

Philadelphia Police arelooking for two customed suspects who they say skipped out on a $40 cab ride, one of them beating the man after he asked to be paid for his services.

Police on Monday released surveillance video of the Halloween incident, in which a man dressed as “Mr. Incredible” and a woman dressed in a female “Incredibles” costume from the popular Disney film are seen inside a 7-Eleven after ditching a cab without paying the fare.

The couple were picked up by the cabbie at 3:48 a.m. on Oct. 31 near Front and Spring Garden, according to police.

They got a ride to a 7-Eleven on Ridge Avenue and Rector Streetup in Manayunk — about eight miles away — and then exited the cab and went into the 7-Eleven without paying the $40 fare, police said.

“The victim followed the suspects into the store in attempt to get paid the $40 fare for the ride,” police said. “Both the offender and the female walked out of the store, at which time the victim again approached the suspect attempting to get paid for his services.”

In response, “Mr. Incredible” punched the cabbie in the face, police said — leaving him with a “severe laceration.”

The cabbie, who has not been identified, was transported to Roxborough Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark hari, a stocky build, and wearing a red-colored “Incredibles” costume. The woman is being sought for questioning.
