Cops: Teens beat bicyclist, stole bike he was riding in Point Breeze

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking for two teenagers in connection with a robbery in Point Breeze.

Cops said that on Sunday, Dec. 13, around 9:24 p.m., a 51-year-old man was riding a bike on the 1500 block of South 16th Street “when he was approached by unknown males who punched the complianantseveral times to the face then pushed [him] off his bicycle.”

Authorities alleged that one of the suspects then hopped on the bicycle and rode it away with the other suspect following behind. They were last seen heading west on Tasker Street. Immediately after the incident, cops said thevictim had to be transported to Methodist Hospital for injuries to his face and mouth.

The PPD described the suspects as two black males between the ages of 12 and 15.
