DeSean Jackson knocked out in win over Falcons

Make that six concussed Eagles this season.

DeSean Jackson became the latest player to lay motionless on the field, not fully aware of his surroundings, when he absorbed a crushing blow from Dunta Robinson early in the second quarter. Coach Andy Reid didn’t put a timetable on his return.

“We’ll just see how it works out,” Reid said. “He’s a tough little nut.”

Jackson, who scored two TDs on Sunday, wasn’t available for comment. However, Asante Samuel said he had spoken to Jackson and that he was doing OK.

“Hopefully he’ll be back in a couple days, maybe a week,” Samuel said.

The NFL will probably levy a fine on Robinson, who drilled the defenseless receiver with a full head of steam.

“He led with his helmet,” said Jeremy Maclin. “You can’t do that.”

Missing QB?

Where was Michael Vick? Apparently, chilling out in the locker room.

Prior to kickoff, reports swirled that Vick had arrived late to Lincoln
Financial Field. He was listed among the inactives and wasn’t on the
Eagles’ sideline. Coach Andy Reid said he told Vick to show up at 12:15
p.m. and stay in the locker room.

“I gave him a little different [reporting] time,” Reid said.

Reid said Vick was the emergency QB.
