Don’t stop at the second helpings

Gluttony may be one of the deadly sins, but like many sins, it sure can be fun. Now, we’re not talking KFC Double Down gluttony here — even a food columnist has to have his limits. What we are talking about is the all-you-can-eat kind of excess. But where should you go for such a bonanza? We have a couple of ideas for when you’ve got your heart set on stuffing yourself.

Philadelphia has a trio of all-you-can-eat Brazilian rodizios. Chima (1901 JFK Blvd.) followed Fogo de Chao (1337 Chestnut St.) to town as part of our steak craze, but Picanha (6501 Castor Ave.) has been doing it longer, and faithful regulars keep the Northeast spot busy. That the prices at this BYOB are roughly half that of the Center City steak houses’ is one more plus.

Over in Old City, DiNardo’s (312 Race St.) offers all-you-can-eat crabs on Monday nights. It’ll set you back $32 at this throwback of a restaurant, which offers them “hot and dirty” and garlic style.
