Eagles ink Landri, Hargrove

The Eagles announced Wednesday that they had agreed to terms on one-year contracts with two defensive tackles: Anthony Hargrove and Derek Landri.

Hargrove played for the New Orleans Saints last season, where he played in 14 games and registered 51 tackles and one sack. He won a Super Bowl ring with the team in 2009. The 28-year-old has played in 87 career games, posting 306 tackles, 16.5 sacks and three forced fumbles with three different teams.

Landri is entering his fifth NFL season after spending his first three years in Jacksonville and last season in Carolina. The 27-year-old started 16 games for the Panthers, recording 43 tackles and three sacks.

It is interesting to note, that on the same day Mike Patterson is rushed to the hospital due to a seizure, the Eagles signed two defensive tackles.
