Eagles Notebook: Brandon Graham activated, LeSean McCoy practices again

The Eagles host the Chicago Bears Monday night (8:30 p.m., ESPN) at Lincoln Financial Field. It’s their first Monday nighter this season and second consecutive night game after routing the Cowboys last weekend on Sunday night.

Here are a few things from the team’s final practice before Monday:

Second-year defensive end Brandon Graham has been activated and added to the team’s 53-man roster. To make room, the Eagles released offensive guard Kyle DeVan. Prior to practice, coach Andy Reid was non-committal about whether he would activate Graham.

“I’ve got to go back and I’m going to look at the tape,” Reid said. “He had two good days of practice, and we’ll see how he held up today. It looked like he did okay.”

On Friday, Graham told reporters he was confident he wouldn’t be heading to injured reserve.

PARKER OUT. Meanwhile, defensive end Juqua Parker missed practice for the second straight day and is doubtful for Monday night’s game with a high ankle sprain. He originally injured his ankle against Atlanta on Sept. 18, but returned to action Oct. 9 at Buffalo.

SHADY FEELING FINE. After missing Thursday’s practice with a stomach flu, running back LeSean McCoy said he is “100 percent.” McCoy hit the field for a second straight day and didn’t show any signs of being sick. There were a few theories floating around that McCoy was faking the injury, after he attended the Jay-Z/Kanye West concert Wednesday night. “I don’t fake injuries,” he told reporters.

VICK READY FOR PRIMETIME. Eagles quarterback Mike Vick was asked about playing on the big stage of Monday Night Football. Even he had to admit that it gets the juices flowing a little more than usual. “I think all the guys like to play on Monday night because the whole world is watching on Sunday and Monday nights,” Vick said. “It gives you an opportunity to showcase your talents in front of the whole world.”

We’ll be back with some more thoughts tomorrow and also to preview Monday night’s showdown …
