Eagles, Reid are evaluating ‘everybody and everything’

The Eagles’ face-lift could continue in the coming days and weeks. Andy Reid didn’t want to divulge too much new information, but the coach repeated that is still evaluating.

What that exactly means is unclear. Know this, however. Reid is squarely on the hot seat — and he has almost a full two weeks to “evaluate.”

“I evaluate every day, but I’m upping that because we don’t have a game obviously coming up here,” Reid said. “I’ve got time here to make sure I go through it.”

Reid called Mike Vick his quarterback “right now.” Not a ringing endorsement, but it‘s an endorsement. Reid made it clear that everyone is under the microscope — offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, special teams coach Bobby April and anyone else not pulling their weight.

“Everybody and everything,” Reid said.

With an offensive line that is struggling mightily without injured center Jason Kelce, it stands to reason the team could even make a trade or roster move.

“Howie [Roseman] keeps his eyes open on that,” Reid said. “Every day we go over that.”
