Father shoots son following argument in Northeast Philly: Reports

A father shot his son in the chestfollowing a dispute in Mayfair Tuesday afternoon, reports said.

Police told 6ABC the man and his38-year-old son started arguing while driving. That’s when theypulled over and the shooting happened.

The incident occurred about 1 p.m. on Princeton Avenue near Sackett Street in Northeast Philadelphia, according to NBC10.

The son wastaken to Aria Torresdale Hospitalin critical condition.

A weapon was recovered and the father is in custody, reports said. It was not immediately clear whatstarted the argument.
