Fist pumpers on high alert: ‘Jersey Shore’ set to invade

Practice those fist pumps and grease your hair — the “Jersey Shore” is coming.

But before you get too worked up, Philadelphia’s first dose of MTV’s mega-sleazy reality show about seven Italian-American party animals in Seaside Heights, N.J., will only include Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola.

The meathead and his hot-pants-wearing girlfriend, who found love taping the show last summer, don’t exactly garner the same rousing enthusiasm as their roommates like “The Situation” and “Snooki.” The proof is in the pay: Ronnie and Sammi reportedly demand $3,000 per appearance.

Others like The Situation and Snooki demand $7,500.

McFaddens on North Third Street, which expects Ronnie and Sammi at about 9 p.m., still expects the couple will give their patrons a fun time.

“They’re taking pictures with people. We’re going to have a fist pumping competition,” general manager Walter Wyrsta said, declining to disclose how much the bar was paying. “Nothing’s set in stone yet. It’s about them interacting with people, doing fun, crazy stuff.”

Wyrsta said he’s confident the couple will attract a crowd.

“They were like the sweethearts of the show. A lot of other places are getting Vinny or the Situation,” he said. “We just thought we’d get the hot couple here. It’ll be a good mix for guys and girls.”
