Four injured, including two teens, in Strawberry Mansion shootings

Four people were wounded in separate shootings Monday night and early Tuesday in the area of Strawberry Mansion.

A 25-year-old man was shot twice in the left leg at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday near the corner of 33rd and Diamond streets, authorities said.

Officers took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

Several blocks away, at around 10:30 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old body was shot multiple times in the head and chest on the 2100 block of N. 28th Street, investigators said. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

A short distance away, on the 2900 block of W. Gordon Street, another teenager was injured in a double shooting that occurred at around 8:15 p.m. Monday.

Police said a 15-year-old boy was shot in the back and a 30-year-old man was struck in the leg. Both victims are expected to survive.

Authorities have not said whether any of the shootings are related. No arrests have been reported.
