Frontier Airlines adds 10 non-stop routes from US cities to PHL

Frontier Airlines has a message for Philadelphia: The city is so desirable we’re making it easier to get there.

To be fair, the airline didn’t saythatexactly, but it is certainly addingservices, making Philadelphia a go-to destination for travelers. In a statement, the airline announced a whopping 42 new routes, with many of the new direct routes comingto Philly.

“Travelers between big cities have enjoyed low fares while many markets have remained overpriced and underserved,” said Frontier Airlines President Barry Biffle. “Frontier’s low fares in these new markets will benefit millions of new fliers who are forced to drive because they haven’t found affordable air travel options — or they simply stay at home.”

The new direct routes to Philadelphia come from a slew of smaller U.S. cities, including:

  • Austin, Texas
  • Cincinatti
  • Cleveland
  • Kansas City, Missouri
  • Milwaukee
  • Nashville, Tennessee
  • New Orleans
  • Indianapolis
  • Raleigh, North Carolina
  • St. Augustine, Florida

Direct one-wayFrontier flights to Philadelphia will cost: $59from Cincinatti, Cleveland, Indianpolis, and Raleigh; $69 from Milwaukee, Nashville and St. Augustine; $84 from Kansas City and New Orleans; and $99 from Austin.

Frontier Airlines said the new routes will take effect April 2016.
