High Street on Market will transform into Palizzi Social Club for one night only

Palizzi Social Club

Some combinations just work, even when you don’t expect them too or never would have thought to pair them together in the first place. You know what I’m talking about, Hawaiian pizza lovers. That sentiment certainly rings true with the announcement of one truly unique event happening next month in the City of Brotherly Love.

High Street on Market will transform into Palizzi Social Club for one night only

Palizzi Social Club will be partnering with Ellen Yin’s High Street on Market (308 Market St.) for an extremely unique experience on February 7th from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. The Palizzi Social Club experience usually requires a membership, but not that night High Street, making this opportunity truly rare and not to be missed.

This unique collaboration is the latest installment of the ongoing High Street Pizzeria pop-up series which transforms the contemporary all-day cafe into your favorite local pizzeria just once a month (think checkered tables and mouthwatering pizza options.)

Although there will be some pizza tossing going on, according to the release, the collaboration with Palizzi and High Street on Feb. 7 will feature beloved South Philly chef Joey Baldino’s cculinary creations. Baldino will be serving some of Palizzi Club’s greatest hits, straight from his new cookbook, “Dinner at the Club: 100 Years of Stories and Recipes from South Philly’s Palizzi Social Club” co-written by Adam Erace. Guests can indulge in family-style starters, pizza (of course), plus an abundance of Italian sweets, aperitifs and digestifs.

Just like at Palizzi, space for this event is extremely limited and will most likely fill up. This opportunity may be once in a lifetime for those who are curious about the elusive Social Club’s experience.

Interested Philadelphians can secure their spot for $75 via a credit card reservation with High Street on Market. The evening will include the family-style dinner and a signed copy of Joey’s cookbook; wine and cocktails will also be available a la carte.
