Historically inaccurate crime caught on video

We here at Metro are known as America’s foremost history detectives. And we’re here to say that this alleged crime is historically inaccurate.

Back when Betsy Ross was alive and sewing flags, there were no surveillance cameras and there was no frozen food.

But that’s what got stolen from the Betsy Ross House this week, and that’s how police hope to identify the guy that did it.

On June 15 at about 2 a.m., (historically inaccurate)surveillance cameras show this man jumping the fence into the courtyard of the Betsy Ross House, and grabbing twocases of (historically inaccurate) frozen food. He leaves it at the gate, goes off camera, returns with a bucket, and hops back across the gate.

The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 50 years old, with dreadlocks. He was wearing (historically inaccurate) sneakers.
