An elderly man died in a fire in North Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The fatal fire happened about 11:20 a.m. in a row home on the 3000 block of North Ninth Street, 6ABC Action News reported.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames showing from the home. They found the man’s body during a secondary search.
