Philly residents are already ecstatic about the city’s largest Wawa opening up in University City; now there’s even more reason to celebrate with the announcement of free coffee at Wawa its opening weekend. Roll up Friday, Saturday and Sunday to enjoy a fresh cup of joe and start your day (or night) off right.

The new location offering the free coffee at Wawa is located at 3300 Market Street on Drexel University’s campus. There are a few other Wawa locations in West Philly, but it’s doubtful that anyone will complain about another site of the beloved chain.

A spokesperson for the company said you can expect “unique elements” and “fast casual interior design,” including seating areas, bar top seating, banquet and table seats and “urban brick features.” If that isn’t enough to get the public pumped there will also be a pick-up for all Wawa mobile orders located across from the front entrance.

Caffeine lovers can grab their free fix when this location opens their doors for the first time this Friday at 7 a.m. Stick around until 8 a.m. for the grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony, including a hoagie-building competition and the debut of a new “Drexel-inspired specialty beverage,” the Dragon Double Shot.

“This sweet and salty caramel latte is available only in Wawa’s Drexel store and features two shots of espresso and has blue and gold toppings,” Wawa said in a statement.

If West Philly is a bit of a commute, don’t even worry. Wawa is set to open two new locations in Center City next month located at 13th and Chestnut and 12th and Market. The Chestnut Street location will open its doors on October 4th and Market Street on October 25th.
