Hurricane Irene: Phillies move game

Hurricane Irene’s wrath is already being felt before the impending tropical storm has even hit area shores.

The Phillies announced that they had moved Sunday afternoon’s game against the Florida Marlins to 1:05 p.m. as part of a day-night doubleheader at Citizens Bank Park. Tickets for Sunday’s game will be honored. Gates will open at 11:05 a.m.

Roy Halladay is scheduled to pitch the first game of the doubleheader for the Phillies, with Cliff Lee going in the nightcap.

But Friday’s 7:05 p.m. start hasn’t changed.
