President Trump’s daughter Ivanka will be making the case for her father’s tax-reform plan during a town hall appearance in the Philly suburbs on Monday afternoon.

The First Daughter, who along with her husband Jared Kushner has taken an active role in the Trump administration at the white house over the last 10 months, will be speaking to promote the Republican plan for an overhaul of the federal tax system, which Trump has identified as his top legislative priority.

Ivanka will be at the James Kinney Senior Center in Richboro, Pa. at a town hall talk sponsored by local Republican U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick on Monday afternoon.

She will be arguing on behalf of the plan along with U.S. Treasurer Jovita Carranza and former U.S. Rep. Nan Hayworth of New York.

A White House rep said Ivanka’s remarks will focus on the Child Tax Credit: “Ivanka, in coordination with the National Economic Council, Office of Legislative Affairs and Treasury, has been working on an expansion of the child tax credit as it is an essential part of ensuring a middle-class tax cut.”

President Trump claims his plan will help the middle class. Democrats who oppose the plan say it will only benefit the wealthy.

Like her dad, Ivanka has ties to the Philly area, having graduated from UPenn’s Wharton business school.

And in case you forgot, here’s the 2006 appearance on “The View” where Trump said if Ivanka wasn’t his daughter, he’d be dating her, to the hosts’ delight.
