Former Republican mayoral primary candidate John Featherman is once again making waves with a campaign ad, this one lampooning Bob Brady, his opponent in the race for the first Congressional district.
The ad features Philadelphia media personality Ruth Weisberg telling the “naked truth” about Brady … while she is naked.
“Congressman Bob Brady would give anyone the shirt off his back,” she says, then goes on to rattle off a long list of statistics about rising crime and taxes, violent schools and poverty in Brady’s district during his 14-year tenure as congressman.
Featherman previously grabbed headlines during the Republican mayoral primary race when he released a commercial comparing the municipal government to that of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi and one depicting City Council sleeping while an actor resembling Mayor Michael Nutter drooled over a busty blonde woman.
