Kenyatta’s name seized by political foe Feibush

In the hotly contested election race for Second District City Council seat, challenger and real estate tycoon Ori Feibush made the move of stealing the website address based on incumbent Councilman Kenyatta Johnson’s name.

KenyattaJohnson.com, .net and .org all re-direct visitors to OriFeibush.com.

Twitter user @KJOvsOFE, which is tracking the political race, discovered the anomaly on Monday morning.

Online records show Feibush bought the URLs in November 2013.

A spokesman for Feibush confirmed that they had bought the URLs, the Inquirer reported.

Johnson, who took office in 2012, officially launched his re-election campaign Jan. 24. His website is CitizensforKenyattaJohnson.com.

Johnson and Feibush will face off as opponents for the Democratic nomination for the City Council race in the May 19 primary.
