Eagles GM Howie Roseman is at the combine to scout potential draft picks. Yet it’s a player already on his roster that is drawing interest.
Kevin Kolb. While Roseman wouldn’t tell reporters Thursday if the team had fielded offers for Kolb, he did take the time to heap praise on the quarterback.
“We have a lot of confidence in Kevin,” he said. “Obviously, we gave him the starting job … He has all the tools you look for in a starting quarterback and we feel lucky to have him.”
It seems likely that Michael Vick will be the starter next season — barring a lockout — but Roseman wouldn’t confirm that or elaborate on Kolb’s future.
“We’re still evaluating all our options at all our positions and we’ll go through that,” he said.
