Louis Spadaccini: Neumann-Goretti Coach Re-Arrested for Rape Charges

Neumann-Goretti baseball coach Louis Spadaccini was re-arrested last night and charged with rape and related offenses after a second young victim came forward, this time alleging sexual assault.

A 13-year-old boy told investigators late yesterday that,
between July and August, Spadaccini, 37, sexually assaulted him on
three occasions after giving him alcohol, police said.

One of those alleged assaults took place at Spadaccini’s residence on the 2800
block of South Iseminger Street, the other two at the Holiday Inn on Packer
Avenue.

Spadaccini was charged yesterday for allegedly giving a 14-year-old student spiked alcohol at a room in the same hotel, causing the boy to become so intoxicated that he needed medical attention. The man was freed on $15,000 bail, then taken into custody again last night around 9:40 p.m.

Police have not confirmed whether the second victim is also a student at Sts. Neumann-Goretti High School.
