‘Love drug’ dealer in court for threats

BOSTON. Prosecutors argued yesterday that a Northeastern
University chemistry graduate student accused of selling an illegal drug
to an FBI informant in a Philadelphia parking lot poses a danger to the
community and should be held in jail pending his open drug and
threatening cases.

Dennis Szymanski is facing drug charges for allegedly driving to
Philadelphia to sell drugs and then creating fake Facebook and e-mail
addresses to threaten that informant and his girlfriend. He allegedly
arranged to meet at a Best Buy parking lot in South Philadelphia in
April to provide him with 2 kilograms of MDA, also known as the “love
drug,” in exchange for $36,000.
