Candid camera couldn’t have been more embarrassing. A man who caused a ruckus at a Little Caesars pizza joint surrendered to police last Thursday after seeing himself on surveillance footage aired by local news stations.

Duane Townsend, 29, from the 600 block of East Wishart Street, entered the pizza parlor on 1100 West Girard Ave. on Valentine’s Day around 10 p.m. Police say Townsend argued with a 35-year-old employee, throwing punches and computer equipment from the counter.

Townsend then fled on foot and was last seen entering a black four-door automobile with an unknown man and woman already inside.

He has been charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.
