A man was arrested yesterday for allegedly beating his neighbor to death in Overbrook Farms.
Patrick Fischer, 26, of the 6400 block of Drexel Road, allegedly attacked neighbor Dominic Crisconi, 53, around 11 a.m., striking his head and body with a metal pole.
Crisconi was pronounced dead shortly before 11:20 a.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Police were surveying the crime scene area shortly after the incident when Fischer abruptly took off, arousing suspicion. He was apprehended following a short foot chase.
Fischer is charged with murder, resisting arrest and possession of an instrument of crime. Police have not yet established a motive.
