Police reported that a 23-year-old man was shot and killed around 2 a.m. this morning in the Strawberry Mansion area.
The victim, described only as a black male, was shot in the back, head and left leg around 1:47 a.m.
Officers from the 22nd district responded to the crime scene.
The shooting on the street near the intersection of Ridge Avenue and 29th Street.
The victim was transported to Temple Hospital by police officers, and was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m.
No arrests have been made.
