Mike Vick beats LeSean McCoy in 40-yard dash

Drew Brees and LeSean McCoy Win FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players Of The Year McCoy claims Mike Vick cheated in a recent footrace, and wants a rematch.

Eagles safety Colt Anderson started a mini controversy Thursday when he posted a tweet about Mike Vick beating LeSean McCoy in a foot race. More specifically, it was a 40-yard dash.

“Vick just beat Shady in a 40 yard race. @MikeVick,” wrote Anderson in the original tweet.

Later, Vick confirmed it and added more details. Apparently, McCoy had been calling the quarterback an “old man” and telling him he was slow for the past few weeks. On Thursday, Vick — with permission from coach Chip Kelly — accepted his offer for a race.

“So today at the field 1 of my teammates called me old & bagged to race me in the 40yd dash. Anybody want to guess which player? #Bird Gang,” Vick wrote on Twitter.

Vick added that he won by a few yards — and that didn’t sit well with McCoy, who jokingly sent out his own tweet claiming that Vick cheated.

“My brother a cheater haha,” wrote McCoy, adding, “Monday rematch going down lolRT.”

It’s nice to see the Eagles are having some fun in the offseason. The only real question is, were was DeSean Jackson? Surely he could smoke both Vick and McCoy.
