With the fall season now in full force, there are plenty of fun activities to get excited about—and this month Morgan’s Pier will truly be throwing down autumn-style. Aside from debuting a new seasonal menu and cocktail selection, the popular hotspot will also be hosting entertainment, activities and events that will make you feel all of the warm fuzzies while the weather begins to cool down.

Starting September 23rd, the popular waterside destination from FCM Hospitality will be hosting six weeks of fall-themed entertainment, events, food and cocktails all featuring the backdrop of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River. Morgan’s Pier will be decked out into a fall wonderland with fall flowers and foliage, carved themed pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks and other festive surprises. Guests can even pick and carve their own pumpkins right from the Pier’s patch on weekends from 11 am to 5 pm for anywhere from $5 to $10. Additionally, music will be provided by local entertainers every weekend on Thursday nights, Friday happy hour and night, Saturday day and night and Sunday day until Fall Fest ends on Nov 1.

The menu will also be loaded up with all-new culinary specials catered to the season from Chef in Residence Jon Adair, who has worked in the past at other popular Philly spots such as Fork, South Helm and Helm Rittenhouse. According to the release, Chef has evolved the outdoor beer garden’s backyard BBQ menu by bringing together seasonal flavors, local ingredients and high end training featuring a variety of favorite dishes this season including the Mushroom FATbread featuring Lost Bread Co.’s dough, topped with white sauce, pancetta, ricotta and sage. For a sweet seasonal ending to the meal, don’t miss a throwback with the Pier’s Pumpkin Bread and Fried Apple Empanadas as well.
