Prosecutors in Burlington County, NJ said police have located the remains of missing mom Erica Crippen wrapped in a blanket 85 away from a road near Sykesville, MD.

An extension cord was wrapped around her hands, feet and neck, prosecutors said, and duct tape covered her nose and mouth.

Crippen, 26 and the mother of two children aged 3 months and 7 years, was declared missing in early January after she failed to pick up her 7-year-old daughter from school.

Her husband, Kyle Crosby, has been in custody on murder charges since January 12. Officers say they found several pieces of evidence in his car related to Crippen’s disappearance.

Investigators say Crosby’s GPS device indicated that he had spent a significant amount of time in Old Frederick Road in Carroll County, Md, where Crippen’s body was found.

Crosby’s 67-year-old mother, Jo, has been charged with helping her son conceal Crippen’s death.
