Over the last 10 games that Jeremy Maclin and Nick Foles have played together, the two have combined for 53 receptions, 775 yards and six touchdowns.

Fresh off a 100-plus yard receiving day where he was clearly Nick Foles’ favorite target, it is becoming apparent the two are in absolute sync this season.

“I think all those relationships are constantly growing,” Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said. “They seem to have a little bit of connection even before I got here. You know, Nick’s rookie season when he played for Mike [Vick] and Jeremy was really healthy and they had a neat connection going on then.”

The two were obviously on hiatus during 2013, when Maclin was out recovering from ACL surgery but the two have gotten back to work right where they left off.

“I think it’s obviously something we need to continue to grow,” Kelly said. “We’ve still left meat on the bone. There have been some sometimes when we’ve missed Jeremy a couple of times. He’s really been open in all three games we’ve played. I don’t know if we’ve gotten him the ball enough, to be honest with you.”

The Eagles have certainly targeted Maclin a considerable amount. In three games he has been targeted 32 times, tied for the sixth most of any wide receiver in football.

Of those targets, he has caught 16 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns.

Maclin has dusted off the rust pretty well in his first three games since 2012. His296 yards receiving is tied for fifth most in the NFL so far this season. He has four catches for more than 20 yards, second to only Zach Ertz on the Eagles roster and hisreceptions have accounted for 13 first downs, more than any receiver on the Eagles.
