Mayor Michael Nutter went to Harrisburg on Thursday to testify before the state House Urban Affairs committee about his vision for the Philadelphia Housing Authority moving forward from a hectic, controversial time. He spoke of streamlining the agency’s planning, coordination and development.
The PHA “has been in competition or at odds with the city” in development projects. He hopes a working relationship evolves but conceded he hasn’t spoken about it with PHA chair John Street recently.
