Philadelphia Zoo officials believe a SEPTA station would help the zoo grow by alleviating traffic around the popular tourist destination.

Zoo officials’ desired SEPTA Regional Rail train station would be built at 34th Street and Mantua Avenue, NBC10 reports.

At present, the Girard trolley is the only rail option to get to the nearly 140-year-old zoo in West Philadelphia.
