Class it up at the second Philly Wine Week, kicking off this Sunday with the Opening Corks gala at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The gala will bring us into the spring drinking season with sparking whites and roses. Tickets, at www.phillywineweek.org, are $75.

Throughout the week, bars and restaurants will be offering specials and hosting tastings, talks and wine-pairing dinners. Here are two pay-as-you-go options to start next week off right:

March 23: Jet Wine Bar

1525 South St., 215-735-1116

After work on Monday, any time between 4 p.m. and midnight, head to Jet on South Street where the bartenders will be mixing up cocktail made with wine, including a flight of sangria.

March 24: Tria

123 S. 18th St., 215-972-7075 and 1137 Spruce St., 215-629-9200

Two Tria locations are serving up two 10-year-old wines for $10 a glass on Tuesday, starting at 4 p.m. Choose from a Domaine Michel Brégon muscadet or a Ramón Bilbao rioja crianza — or try both. We don’t judge.
