PHOTOS: The Ribbon-Cutting for The Ann Bartram Carr Garden

Last Thursday, the Ann Bartram Carr Garden, the only 19th century flower garden in Philadelphia, celebrated its grand reveal after undergoing a $2.7 million restoration project. Speakers and guests included Mayor Jim Kenney, Bartram President Elizabeth Bressi-Stoppe, Senator Anthony Williams, Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell, Managing Director Michael DiBerardinis, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Kathryn Ott Lovell, Bartram Executive Director Maitreyi Roy, over 100 donors, friends and descendants of Bartram family and children from Woodland Academy.
