Police Identify Weekend Homicide Victims

Ryan Taylor, 22, of the 400 block of West Mentor Street, was discovered on the 6600 block of Ross Street by a paramedic around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Loren Manning, 51, of the 1700 block of North 16th Street, was stabbed to death after an argument around 10:23 pm. Saturday night on the 1700 block of West Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Bernabe Montes, 43, of the 5000 block of North 5th Street, was killed in a triple shooting around 3:48 a.m. Saturday that resulted from a robbery gone bad on the block where he lived.

Adonis Purdy of the 700 block of South 57th Street was also shot and killed during the course of a robbery on the 5700 block of Baltimore Avenue around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.

William Stubbs, 30, of the 5000 block of Pemberton Street, was killed around 7 p.m. during a quadruple shooting on the 1700 block of West Dauphin Street that resulted from an argument.

Clifford Price, 58, of the 3000 block of North Pennock Street was shot and killed on the 3000 block of West Clearfield Street around 6:40 a.m. Friday.

A seventh victim’s identity was released Sunday. Maribel Rivera, 41, of the 5100 block of Whittaker Avenue, was strangled to death around 11 a.m. Friday afternoon on the 1900 block of East Tioga Street. Police have arrested Richard Lebron, 42, for her death.
