Police nab face-painted woman who allegedly robbed four banks

Police have arrested an alleged serial bank robber who once committed the crime while wearing face paint.

Delaware Police announced that they nabbed the woman yesterday just after she allegedly committed her fourth robbery at a PNC Bank inside a Wilmington, DE Super G Food Market around noon.

Authorities said after the woman made away with an undisclosed amount of cash, a trooper stopped a car matching the description of a vehicle seen leaving the robbery and took both of its occupants into custody.

Victoria Ludwig, 37, of Wilmington is charged with four counts of
robbery in the first degree, wearing a disguise during the commission of
a felony and conspiracy.

Aside from yesterday’s heist, police said she is also wanted for the robberies of a WSFS Bank inside a
Shoprite on April 5 and a Citizens Bank inside an Acme on April 4 and
March 24. During the latter incident, she made headlines when surveillance video showed her wearing pink and purple face paint.

The car’s second occupant, Keith
Whitaker Jr., 28, was charged with one count of robbery in the first degree and conspiracy after investigators found evidence linking him to yesterday’s PNC Bank robbery, police said.
