Police Release Identities of Five out of Six Victims of Weekend Gun Violence

Police have released identities of five killed in separate incidents during a violent weekend and are withholding a sixth pending family notification.

Shari Harris, 23, was discovered in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Police believe the motive to be robbery.

Aaron Tucker, 20, of the 1800 block of North Newkirk Street in Strawberry Mansion, was killed in his residence Saturday night during a home invasion that critcally wounded three others. Police also believe robbery to be the motive.

Santiago, 22, of the 400 block of South 5th Street in Camden, was shot multiple times early Sunday morning on the 1000 block of North 5th Street near Girard Avenue. The location was originally reported to be Girard Avenue and Franklin Street.

Kevin Underwood, 22, of the 2800 block of West Oxford Avenue, was shot and killed on the 2700 block of West Eyre Street in Strawberry Mansion yesterday afternoon.

Christopher Lee, 22, of the 5100 block of Kershaw Street, was shot and killed on the 1600 block of North Lindenwood Street in Overbrook shortly after 7:30 p.m. in what police believe to be a robbery. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and pronounced dead about 45 minutes later.

A sixth man, 28, was fatally shot in the neck on
the 5200 block of Master Street around 8 p.m. yesterday. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennslyvania and pronounced dead a short time later. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
