A clerk at a South Jersey convenience store was injured when he was attacked during a robbery Monday afternoon.

The crime happened about 4 p.m. at the Pantry 1 Food Mart on Pitman Downer Road in Washington Township’s Sewell section, CBS Philly reported. Police arrived to find the clerk bleeding from his face.

Police are seeking three suspects, two of whom were armed with handguns, in connection with the robbery. They fled behind the store after committing the crime.

Police described all three suspects as black males.

The suspect who did not brandish a gun is 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and of a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie, a black North Face jacket and Hollister sweatpants.

One of the gun-toting suspects is described as being of a medium build. He was wearing a black mask, a white hoodie and jeans. The other armed suspect is of a larger build than the other two suspects, and he was wearing a black mask, a blue Nike hoodie and jeans.
