Police have taken a man into custody in connection with a homicide following a high-speed pursuit, according to a spokeswoman.
Authorities attempted to stop the suspect, who was in a silver vehicle, around 11 a.m. The car sped off on Kelly Drive traveling away from the city and lead police on a chase.
Police were able to stop the vehicle on Hunting Park Avenue near Fox Street in Nicetown and arrest the man. No charges have yet been filed and it is unknown what exact case for which the suspect was wanted for questioning.
